This site is primarily for my graphic design work, but music is such an important part of what I do that I feel it deserves its own space here.
BEAST WITH A GUN
This is my main band, which I play guitar in. Our sound is dirty and raw, encompassing influences from 50s rock'n'roll and country, through 60s garage, 70s punk, 80s punk and alternative, 90s garage punk and and a very select handful of bands from this decade.
THE GUTTERBOYS
The Gutterboys are a rockabilly/country/blues band, featuring mostly the same members in the same roles as Beast with a Gun, having started off as a side project. We play mostly in pubs around the local area, which get more than wild enough to keep the fun going.
JUKEBOX JONAH AND THE RANDOM RUMMIES
The newest band I am involved in, playing bass and various bit of percussion in a lineup featuring six core members and whoever else wants to join in. Influences in this band come from early swing and exotica records, as well as everything else we're into, to create a really unique and exciting sound.
MURDER SLIM RECORDS
The record and promotions label tying all these projects (and more) together, run by myself, Jukebox Jonah, and Pigmeat from Beast with a Gun. Quality control is more important than anything with this and we only put out records that we all love. Releases so far consist of a Beast with a Gun 7" single, and a split 7" EP with Norwich's Slim Limbs. Future projects include a new band called the Dissolutes from Worcester, and Jukebox Jonah & the Random Rummies. Records can be purchased directly from us on our page below.
